Bring voltage, current, resistance and temperature measurements together in one handheld digital multimeter. The supplier identifies this listing as the HT116, with True RMS, auto and manual ranging, non-contact voltage indication and a 9999-count color display.

Model & Option Clarification

Several photos show a HABOTEST HT116, while the accessory-layout image shows a GVDA GD128. These are different model and brand markings, not confirmed interchangeable versions. The listing identifies HT116, but the supplied model, branding, specifications and accessory set should be confirmed before ordering. The single option is English packaging, although the selector is labeled Color.

Supplier-Listed Functions

  • DC/AC voltage and current, resistance, capacitance, frequency and duty-cycle measurement.
  • True RMS AC measurement, subject to the model's documented bandwidth, signal and range limits.
  • Auto/manual ranging, hold, relative measurement and Max/Min/Avg functions, as listed by the supplier.
  • NCV and live-wire indication with audio/visual alerts; these do not establish that a circuit is safe to touch.
  • 9999-count VA color display, automatic power-off, low-battery indication and a built-in flashlight.
  • Supplier-listed input-socket indication and fast-fuse protection. Indicators and fuses do not prevent every connection error, overload, electric shock or burn.

Advertised Measurement Specifications

The following are supplier-listed figures for the HT116, not independently verified calibration results. Consult the supplied model-specific manual for full ranges, conditions, resolution and limits before use.

  • DC voltage: listed ranges from 99.99 mV to 1000 V; stated accuracy ±(0.5%+3).
  • AC voltage: listed ranges from 99.9 mV to 750 V; stated accuracy ±(0.8%+3).
  • DC current: up to 9.99 A; stated accuracy ±(0.8%+3) to ±(1.2%+3), depending on range.
  • AC current: up to 9.99 A; stated accuracy ±(1.0%+3) to ±(1.5%+3), depending on range.
  • Resistance: up to 99.99 MΩ; stated accuracy ±(0.8%+3).
  • Capacitance: up to 99.99 mF; stated accuracy ±(4.0%+3).
  • Frequency: up to 9.999 MHz; stated accuracy ±(1.0%+3).
  • Temperature measurement range: -40°C to 1000°C / -40°F to 1832°F. The included thermocouple's actual allowable range is not specified and must not be assumed to cover the meter's full range.
  • Supplier-listed dimensions: 165 × 84 × 23 mm; weight approximately 290 g.
  • Power: 3 × AAA batteries, not included, according to the supplier.

The supplier also claims CAT III 1000 V / CAT IV 600 V to EN61010, but supporting safety-test documentation and matching lead ratings are not provided here. These claims are not presented as independently verified certification or authorization for high-energy testing. Measurement range, fuse marking and measurement category are different specifications. Follow the lowest applicable verified rating of the meter, leads and accessories.

What's Included

  • 1 × HT116 digital multimeter, as identified in the supplier packing list.
  • 1 × test-lead set.
  • 1 × thermocouple probe.
  • 1 × carry bag.
  • 1 × English manual.

Batteries are not included. The pictured accessory layout is labeled GD128, so confirm that the same contents accompany the HT116. A gift box is pictured in that layout but is not separately itemized in the packing list.

Proper Use & Electrical Safety

  • Read the exact supplied model's manual before use. Inspect the housing, leads, insulation, connectors and fuses; do not use damaged equipment. Verify correct operation on a known source before and after safety-critical checks.
  • Choose the correct function, range and input sockets before connecting. Do not rely on automatic mode or illuminated sockets to select safely on your behalf.
  • Never connect leads across a voltage source while they are in a current input or current-measurement mode. Current testing requires the correct series connection and strict current/time limits in the manual; have a qualified person perform it if uncertain.
  • Disconnect circuit power and safely discharge capacitors before resistance, continuity, capacitance or similar unpowered-circuit tests. Disconnect probes before changing connections, opening the meter or replacing batteries/fuses.
  • NCV and live-wire alerts are supplemental indications, not proof of absence of voltage. Use an appropriate verified procedure and correctly rated equipment to establish isolation.
  • Do not attempt mains, distribution-panel or other high-energy testing without suitable training, verified equipment ratings and appropriate protective measures. A claimed high voltage range does not make every application safe.
  • Keep fingers behind probe guards, avoid exposed conductors and do not exceed the lowest verified rating of any component. Use the temperature probe only within its own documented limits and on suitable non-energized surfaces.

Care & Storage

  • Keep the meter dry and away from excessive heat, impact and conductive debris. No waterproof rating is provided.
  • With leads disconnected and power off, clean the exterior with a soft cloth following the manual. Do not immerse or allow cleaner into sockets.
  • Replace batteries and fuses only as directed, using the exact specified type and fuse interrupt rating. Never bypass a fuse or open the meter while connected to a circuit.
  • Store the meter and protected probes in the carry bag. Remove batteries for extended storage and arrange calibration or inspection as appropriate for your work.
