Compatibility: Check Before Buying

Your device must support an M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe SSD with matching connector keying, mounting position and physical clearance. An M.2 slot alone does not establish compatibility: SATA-only M.2 slots and SATA-only enclosures are not suitable for an NVMe drive. Check your computer's manual for supported capacities, boot support, firmware and cooling requirements.

Supplier images show a game console, but compatibility with a specific console, including PS5, is not established. Do not rely on the promotional console image when selecting this drive. Operating-system support and model-specific compatibility are not documented in this listing.

Installation & Proper Use

1. Back up important data before replacing storage. Check your device's service instructions and prepare any required operating-system installation or migration media.
2. Shut down the device, unplug external power and disconnect its battery where the service instructions require it. Use electrostatic-discharge precautions and handle the SSD by its edges.
3. Align the keyed connector with the correct slot, insert gently and secure it using the device's specified mounting hardware. Do not force or overtighten it.
4. Refit any required thermal pad or heatsink according to the device instructions, without removing the SSD label unless the manufacturer explicitly directs it.
5. Confirm detection in firmware and the operating system. Initialize and format only the intended new drive; these operations can erase data. Keep ongoing backups after installation.

• Do not install or remove the drive while powered. Keep it away from liquids, static discharge, bent connectors and excessive heat.
• Maintain the host system's cooling and ventilation. Stop use if the drive or connector is damaged or shows unusual overheating.
