Setup and use

1. Inspect the stand, hinges, pads and retaining tabs before placing a device on it. Follow any supplied assembly and adjustment instructions.
2. Place the base fully on a clean, dry, stable, level desktop, away from the edge. Do not use on a bed, lap or other unstable surface.
3. Remove the device before adjusting height or tilt. Support the platform while moving the arms and keep fingers away from hinge pinch points.
4. Set a conservative, balanced position and check that the joints hold securely. Do not force the hinges or loosen hardware without the manufacturer's directions.
5. Center one compatible device on the platform, ensure the retaining tabs engage safely and check stability before releasing it. Keep vents and ports unobstructed.
6. Route cables with enough slack to avoid pulling the stand over. Use the side phone support only after confirming its safe fit and loading.
7. For an elevated screen, position a separate keyboard and mouse at a comfortable working level. Adjust your seating and take regular breaks; a stand alone does not guarantee posture improvement or pain relief.

Safety and care

• Confirm the load rating before use. Do not stack laptops, use as a shelf for unrelated heavy items or lean your body weight on the platform.
• Typing pressure can affect stability at raised angles. Reduce height or stop use if the stand rocks, slips or the hinges drift.
