Proper Use

1. Inspect the jaws, pivots, handles and tips for damage or looseness. Unfold the handles into the appropriate working position and check stability before applying pressure.
2. For gripping, secure the workpiece and hold it within the jaw's suitable contact area. Apply controlled hand pressure and keep fingers clear of jaws and folding joints.
3. For screw-driving, choose the tip only if it fully fits the fastener. Keep it aligned and turn gently by hand; stop if it slips or the fastener needs substantial force.
4. Do not attempt wire cutting until the manufacturer or supplier confirms the tool's cutting function and material/diameter limits. Never cut energized wire, hardened wire or cable beyond a confirmed rating.
5. After use, fold the handles carefully with fingers away from pinch points. Make sure the tool remains securely closed and any carrying attachment cannot release accidentally.
